WIRE DESK — A writer has filed suit accusing Taylor Sheridan, Paramount Television Studios and other producers of building the hit series Yellowstone from her rejected pitch. Lauren Salkin’s lawsuit, first reported by 9News, claims her 2016 series concept was copied to create the Sheridan-created drama. Representatives for Sheridan and Paramount have not yet responded to requests for comment. The case adds to a growing trend of intellectual-property disputes in Hollywood writer-producer battles.
