The National Hockey League has requested a licensing agreement with Smoky Hill High School regarding the use of the Buffalo Sabres logo. The school district announced last month that it would not sell clothing or other merchandise featuring the existing buffalo logo during the upcoming fall season.
The NHL’s request follows the district’s decision to discontinue the sale of items bearing the logo. The story is reported by 9News today.
