Colorado educators have announced a new teacher certification program designed to address the state’s teacher shortage. The Colorado Association of Latino Administrators and Supervisors (CO‑ALAS) has partnered with Teachers of Tomorrow to create an alternative pathway for prospective teachers.
The initiative offers a streamlined route for individuals who meet eligibility criteria but do not hold a traditional teaching credential. It aims to expand the pool of qualified teachers and support schools across Colorado.
