Monsoon surge ends Monday

The monsoon surge that has brought heavy rain to Colorado ended Monday today. For the past four days, the state has experienced intense rainfall, flooding many areas and causing widespread concerns.

This week is expected to be much drier as a high‑pressure system blocks the monsoon. The shift in weather patterns should reduce the likelihood of further flooding and allow recovery efforts to continue. 9News reported on the change today.
