CASTLEWOOD CANYON, Colo. — Castlewood Canyon State Park trails, roads and bridges were closed Saturday after Colorado Parks and Wildlife said the park received two to three inches of rain in a short period, causing flooding damage. The agency said the sudden deluge washed out sections of the trail system and compromised several bridges, prompting an immediate shutdown until assessments are complete. Reporting by 9News. —
