BOULDER, Colo. — Boulder police Thursday appealed to the public for help identifying a man connected to two fraud investigations involving gold bars, the department said. The cases, which involve gold bars but whose financial scope or connection remains under investigation, were reported to detectives this week. No description of the suspect or specifics on the gold’s value or origin was released, and police said tips could be submitted anonymously to the Boulder Police Department tip line.
