DENVER — Colorado Parks and Wildlife officers rescued a bear from a tree in the Platt Park neighborhood Sunday morning, officials said. The bear was spotted high in a tree in the residential area, prompting a CPW response. The animal was safely secured and relocated back into suitable habitat with no reports of injuries to people or the bear. Sunday’s operation marked another urban wildlife encounter handled by state officers in the Denver metro area.
